Guidance

At Stratford High School the pastoral care of our students is high priority and we strive to provide a safe, caring environment. Every student is important and as far as possible we try to meet students' needs in an individualised way.

All students are placed in a vertical form class led by a form teacher who takes responsibility for day to day pastoral care. Each year group has two Deans who have specialist skills in listening and supporting students. Deans are able to refer matters to other specialists within the school. These are the Guidance Counsellor, Careers Advisor, Public Health Nurse, Specialist Teachers and School Chaplain. They can also assist with locating support from other agencies.
Parents are welcome to contact  the staff about issues to do with their young people.
